What we offer:
We offer a limited-pilot to invite 3 community groups/charities to get involved, test and refine the model before full launch.
What’s included?
| Conversation/Collaborations with your charity and/or community group. | An original song, developed with/for participants to support engagement, reflection, and ethical storytelling. |
| Recorded song by an educated producer. | A mixed and mastered track. |
| A split in royalties (50/50). | Aggregator costs covered (a system that puts songs onto platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music). |
| Marketing on The Sound Tree social media pages. |
What we ask for in return (Subject to contract)?
- Support with promotion of the song via your social media platforms and contacts.
- Where you plan on using your song.
- Feedback and photos to improve The Sound Tree and its website/social media pages.

| Availability is limited to 3 communities/charities Pilot commissions follow the same core model as standard song commissions: one fully produced song per charity or community group, created in collaboration with your organisation. Fewer planning conversations, basic social media promotional support and 2 music feedback sessions on the final song. Places are limited, so early booking is recommended. | Based on a full cost breakdown, the standard price for a bespoke song commission for charities and community organisations is £1,715 per song. This includes the full songwriting process, recording, mixing and mastering, aggregator and distribution costs, marketing through The Sound Tree’s social media channels, project management, professional and public liability insurance, ongoing support during the project, and administration.
